This deck was designed with both aesthetics and practicality in mind. It is raised off the ground, aligning perfectly with the long, flat patio doors, creating a smooth transition from the interior to the exterior.

The deck’s bold, squared-off design mirrors the clean, modern lines of the house’s architecture, particularly the large patio doors leading to the garden.
This alignment ensures the deck feels like a natural outdoor extension of the home, ideal for entertaining or simply enjoying a summer evening.

Durability and Long-Term Protection
This project was engineered with longevity at its core. The substructure features UC4 joists, offering the highest weather resistance available for timber, topped with decking tape for an extra layer of protection against moisture and pests.
To prevent decay where decking structures typically fail, Plas-Pro posts were used for ground contact, ensuring no wood comes into direct contact with the soil. This innovative construction method guarantees a durable and rot-proof foundation, even in challenging environments.
